As, I chatted with a few of our fellow Poets recently Craig MultiTalented Kirkland, Antonia Valaire, Marj DApoet Wltrs, & Britney Russell, as well as the strong reminders from Sister Cherry Natural, Brother Wise Wurdz, Brother Richie Innocent, Brother Ras Atiba – one of my mentors, held in the highest of regards – Mr. Bob McNeil, Brothers HC Hendriks, Ras Manga, & Malachi Dermot Smith – who embroider the intricacies of Dub Poetry with music, & promotion, and much respect ALWAYS, to Brother Yasus Afari, for if not for him, I wouldn’t have connected with you all. And I can’t forget our supporters, family & friends.

Having a book of poetry? It’s an official time-stamp of your existence & the way in which it’s lived. As Sister Marjorie stated, “A book never dies. Someone, somewhere, will pick it up, & dust it off.” This means the heart of the author will pump again…FOREVER. You can do a paperback & ebook at the same time. So if you haven’t done a book! GET ER DONE, Lol! You won’t regret it.
I thank Sister Antonia Valaire again & again for encouraging me to publish a book. Like many, I’ve been writing & compiling poetry for years. I actually had the manuscripts sitting there…waiting. I write often. Poets, you know! We’re sensitive & easily expressive to the things going on in existence. WE HAVE TO WRITE, lol! I’m already looking at writing & publishing the 3rd book in the series. I love it!!!😅
My Mommy was the 1st Poet, in my life. It’s a beautiful gift to continue.
